Dayan is lying – De Lima on drug payoffs

"Totally untrue," was Congressperson Leila de Lima's response on Wednesday on her previous driver and bodyguard's affirmation that she had gotten cash from asserted medication ruler Kerwin Espinosa.

De Lima said Ronnie Dayan was simply compelled to lie against her.

"Ronnie's claim is completely untrue. I don't know Kerwin and neither does Ronnie. He realizes that," she said in an instant message to correspondents.

The congressperson said Dayan was no longer utilized with her amid the time she had as far as anyone knows got the cash from the speculated sedate master.

She then refered to clashing media reports of the course of events that she had supposedly gotten the cash. A few reports said that she got the cash from Espinosa in October, November, and December 2015 while some said she got it in 2014.

"In the event that 2015, hindi ko na tao si Ronnie," De Lima said.

"So how might I have requested him to get cash from Kerwin? Kaya lang, syempre, and of course, napilitan na rin si Ronnie magsinungaling," the representative included.

Dayan, in a question and answer session at the Place of Delegates Tuesday night, asserted that he got cash from Espinosa five circumstances and offered it to De Lima when she was still equity secretary.
